Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie : Mugen Train Plot Story
Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, And Inosuke Board The Train To Assist Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku On His Mission To Hunt The Demon That Has Killed Many Demon Slayers. Shortly After Landing, They Are All Enchanted And Fall Asleep. Enmu, The First Rank Of The First Of The Twelve Kizuki, Instructs Four Passengers Suffering From Severe Insomnia To Enter The Dreams Of Demon Slayers And Destroy Their Spirit Cores So They Cannot Wake Up Again. In Return, Enmu Let Them Sleep Peacefully. While Sleeping, Tanjiro And His Companions Have Happy Dreams. Tanjiro Realizes That He Is Dreaming And Tries To Wake Up, Succeeding After A Vision Of His Father Instructs Him To Kill Himself In His Sleep. At The Same Time, Nezuko Uses His Power To Sever The Intruders’ Connection And Wake Up The Passengers. Fearing Enmu, They Attack Tanjiro, Who Knocks Them Out.
While Nezuko Awakens The Others, Tanjiro Confronts Enmu And Decapitates Him In The Ensuing Battle. However, Enmu Does Not Die And Reveals That He Merged His Head With The Train. Kyoujuro Orders Inosuke And Tanjiro To Search For Enmu’s Neck While He, Nezuko, And Zenitsu Stay Behind To Protect The Other Passengers. Tanjiro And Inosuke Find Enmu’s Neck Bone In The Engine Room, And Tanjiro Cuts It Off, Killing Enma And Stopping The Train. However, Shortly Thereafter, Akaza, The Three Of The Upper Moon, Appears And Attacks The Demon Slayers. Kyojuro Fights Him Alone And Is Mortally Wounded, Though Akaza Is Forced To Flee As The Sun Begins To Rise. Tanjiro Angrily Calls Him A Coward For Escaping And Declares Kyojuro The Winner Of The Fight. Kyoujuro Cheers On Tanjiro And His Friends And Dies. Hashira And The Demon Slayer Corps Receive Information About His Death, While Tanjiro And The Others Mourn Him.
