For the agent known as “Twilight”, any order is not too high if it is for the sake of peace. As Vestalis’ top spy, Twilight works tirelessly to stop extremists from igniting war with the neighboring country of Remaining. For his latest mission, he must investigate the activities of Ostana politician Donovan Desmond by infiltrating his son’s school: the prestigious Eden Academy. Thus, the agent faces the biggest challenge of his career: getting married, having a baby and playing family.

Twilight, or “Loid the Forger”, quickly adopts the humble orphan Anya to play the role of a six-year-old daughter and future student at Eden Academy. As his wife, he meets Yor Briar, an absent-minded office worker who needs his own fake partner to impress her friends. However, Loyd is not the only one with a hidden nature. Yor moonlights as a deadly assassin, the “Princess of Thorns”. For her, marrying Loyd is the perfect cover.

Meanwhile, Anya is not the ordinary girl she seems to be; she is an esper, the product of secret experiments that allow her to read minds. Although she reveals their real identities, Anya is thrilled that her new parents are hard-boiled secret agents! She, of course, would never tell them about it. It would spoil the fun. Under the guise of “Forgers”, the spy, assassin, and esper must act like a family, carrying out their own plans. Although these liars and losers are just playing roles, they soon discover that a family is much more than a blood relationship.
